TODDLERS AND TWOS
From the time they are born, children are learning to learn as they explore their world
with uninhibited curiousity. They need a safe world rich with opportunity to actively
explore with their senses: to see, hear, feel, touch and move. We believe that caring
and learning go hand in hand and our Toddlers and two year old program is designed to
meet the individual needs of each child.

NURSERY SCHOOL (THREE YEAR OLD's)
Three year old children are becoming more independent and are more able to attend to
their own needs. They are rapidly developing their motor skills, increasing their vocabulary
and are beginning to make the transition to logical thinking. They are learning to control their
emotions and are spending more time in social activities. A thematic program
incorporates age appropriate activities which target the developmental level of the child.

PREKINDERGARTEN ROOM
Welcome aboard the Fun Shine Express for an exciting journey with the Prekindergarten
children. This new thematic curriculum incorporates age appropriate activities which target the developmental level of four year old children. The Prekindergarten class room is designed for
each child to learn all the necessary skills and understandings to succeed in Kindergarten and
continue to thrive academically and socially.

AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM
The After School Program at Just Kids provides before and after school care, back up care for
school holidays or professional development days and summer holidays for children up to
age 12. This program provides an atmosphere where children can relax, socialize or take time
to do home work. We provide, a nutritious snack when children arrive at the centre. Games,
puzzles, art and craft materials, legos, dolls, books, cars, trucks and blocks. Computers
where children can engage in interactive games. Playground space where children can run and
burn off excess energy. Caring adults who are always there to listen and help when needed.
